Welcome to Dream Team Trade Centre for Round 2 brought to you by in the VIP.

The first rule of Trade Centre is never trade until Friday. I still see many inexperienced coaches, pushing the button even before the teams sheets are released. Players get injured at training so you should wait until after lunch Friday to trade.

After this round we will see our first price changes for 2011 which makes trading this week very important for coaches. Let's take a look at players who are projected to gain the most this week.

Note: The 'Potential Price/Gain/Loss' columns indicate how much a player could be worth if they maintain their current average for the next 4-5 weeks. Breakeven refers to the score the player needs to exceed this week to maintain their current price.

Gainers

Rookies

These rookies have jumped out of the blocks this season and if they can maintain their averages, they will lock in massive gains for their owners. If you donâ€™t own most of these players then push the button.

Tom Liberatore looks set for a big year and although he will need a rest at some stage, he fits well into the doggies structure. Curnow and Tapscott are both built well and should be able to continue at the AFL level.

Lower looks like he belongs in the Fremantle side and Bewick should continue to get a game as Lions suffer with injuries.

Mid-Priced

These players should have greater job security and could be a downgrade option for a premium that is performing badly. Dawes was the big surprise for me here as he looks to be heading for a breakout season, the supply into the Pies forward line should ensure some big numbers for him this season. The two Hawthorn boys should continue to get opportunities but be wary of Robinson as he can be inconsistent.

Premium

These players are already priced well but are outperforming their value, so if you are looking at an early upgrade, jump on board. The only risk I see is that all four players come from either West Coast or Carlton and have had a very soft draw so far, Gibbs might actually have an opponent against the Pies this week.

Losers

Premiums

Players in this category would be really frustrating their owners who would not have wanted to be wasting trades this early in the year, but if you hold on to these guys then your bank balance is going to take a hit. Brendan Goddard is a controversial inclusion on this list but the question must be asked whether he can handle a tag. With Lenny Hayes now out, Goddard becomes the number one player for oppositions coaches to stop and as the Tigers proved in Round 2, stop Goddard and you have a chance. Jarred Waite's numbers have taken a hit after the substitution in round 1 and Brad Green just hasn't fired. Mid-Priced

These players would have been in the 50/50 category as to whether they would be keepers for the year, unfortunately it looks like it might be time to cut this dead wood from your team and downgrade to some flying rookies. Duffield has been very disappointing and isnâ€™t having the same impact as previous years. Age is catching up with Jolly and Hall very fast and their break-evens are reflecting that. I donâ€™t know why Rhyce Shaw was even selected by coaches as anyone who has seen him play, surely wouldnâ€™t pick him. Sell.

Under Performing Rookies

These players would have been selected as short-term investments to your side, and most coaches would be looking for at least a 100k increase before considering a trade. A side-ways move is always frowned upon but trading Gaff for Curnow could make a $170k difference.
