Magpie Davis On The Move?
Syndicated on Mon, 15/08.2011In-form Collingwood defender Leon Davis has made the shock confession that he is no certainty to play on next season.
Davis, in arguably career-best form and coming off a personal-best 36 disposals against St Kilda on Friday night, admitted over the weekend that he was weighing up his future.
"Not necessarily (will I play on next season). It's something I'll sit down and have a think about at the end of the year, but definitely enjoying my footy at the moment," Davis told 3AW.
The 30-year-old All-Australian fancy said the lure of family back home in Western Australia had become a factor in deciding whether he would stay with the Magpies in 2012.
"I've got nieces and nephews getting older back home," Davis said.
