The split round continues but with only three games this weekend, it's a test for the appetite. There's the World Cup and Wimbledon to fill the hole but it's hardly as satisfying. Luckily, two of the three are massive clashes and there's potential for the Sunday game to be a great contest also. Therefore, lets make the most of the few games and go looking for some real value.

ST KILDA v GEELONG
Grand Final rematch! Geelong has been dealt a blow on the eve of the encounter losing elusive forward Paul Chapman – the all-Australian forward has been in great form this season, though the Cats are boosted by the inclusions of Mooney and Scarlett. St Kilda are of course without Reiwoldt though have enough goal scoring opportunists in their fwd half. Rain is expected and I think that will favour the Saints.

St Kilda just by 5pts. Get great value for the underdog in this one, the Saints are paying $3.38!

SYDNEY v COLLINGWOOD
Collingwood has been boosted by the inclusions of Johnson, Didak and Ball. This will only add to the strength of their line-up! Sydney normally push sides at ANZ stadium and have had a recent history of beating strong sides there. I just can’t see this occurring Sat night. Collingwood look a premiership contender and have the cattle to push a younger less experienced Sydney line up.

Collingwood by 25+pts at $2.75

ADELAIDE v MELBOURNE
Adelaide is most likely the disappointment of the 2010 season – everyone worth their salt had high hopes for them. Melbourne on the other hand has crept up on the competition and has a lot to be excited about. Adelaide has a stronger bodied side, though if Melbourne gets the opportunity to run and carry the football it will be a long afternoon for the Crows. I would get on Melbourne as they have proven a worthy side this year.
