Rocket Grounded As Dogs Sack Coach

Rodney Eade says he hasn't thought about coaching another club after being told he won't coach the Dogs next year.

It was revealed this morning Eade, who he has been widely linked to recently vacated coaching jobs at Melbourne and Adelaide, had requested a decision on his future at Whitten Oval be brought forward last week.

Eade made a presentation to the Bulldogs board last Thursday and it reached a decision last night.

"I'm not shattered or angry but I'm certainly disappointed, I'm bitterly disappointed, I think I've got a lot to offer," he said at a press conference this morning, where he appeared beside Dogs president David Smorgon and CEO Simon Garlick.
