It is every Supercoach and Dream Teamer's worst nightmare - a young, cheap player who looks like scoring big points in fantasy footy going down with an injury.

Which is precisely the case for those who have picked Fremantle's Tendai Mzungu.

Mzungu, recruited only this season, is only worth $110,200 in Supercoach and $97,600 in AFL Dream Team. However, he has been Fremantle's shining light this pre-season, exciting fans who believed he is as much a bargain as Michael Barlow was in his sensational first half of last season.

As fate would have it, Fremantle fans and fantasy gamers alike are now holding their breath as they await the results of Mzungu's leg injury.

The injury, suffered in Fremantle's nine point win over West Coast in the NAB Challenge at Fremantle Oval this afternoon, looks to be around the knee or leg area. Mzungu was helped from the ground by two trainers. Previously, he had made a good start in said game.

Mzungu, on form, looked as though he would be placed in Fremantle's half back line, replacing the currently injured Roger Hayden for their clash with Brisbane in Round 1 of the 2011 AFL Premiership Season.
