Sub – Editorial Positions

Position Overview:

The main focus of Sub–editors is to keep their specific sports category up to date, interesting and timely.

Most of our sub-editors take approx 5 minutes to edit and publish each article. Emailing contributors can be done at anytime (up to you how long you spend with them.)

Our Sub-editors receive daily advice, guidance and support

OWN YOUR SECTION

Responsibilities:

•    Refresh the section daily with timely, relevant content
•    Write your own articles or syndicate when necessary
•    Communicate with any contributors submitting content to your section
•    Recruit new contributors for your section
•    Report feedback regarding section and make suggestions us on how to better the site/section.
•    Adhere to thebigtip 3 key principles. Honest. Un-biased. Respectful.

Forum Relationship Manager:

Position Overview:

Thebigtip community is tired of reading the same old predictable sports commentary. We are bloggers, club members, forum posters and wannabe journalists. 

We are constantly scouring the web for like minded individuals to share their opinion.

Responsibilities:

•    Research and connect with existing sports forums and blogs.
•    Develop strong relationships with Moderators, administrators and forum management
•    Set up cross-promotion agreements
•    Identify key bloggers to join TBT community and contribute
•    Respect other forum rules, terms and conditions 

Facebook Fan Page Manager/Social Media manager

Position Overview:

thebigtip is seeking a social media savvy applicant to help grow and maintain our social media presence.

Responsibilities:

•    Oversee general content and links posted on facebook & twitter pages
•    Grow fans and followers
•    Keep fan-page updates and fresh
•    Moderate comments ensure there is no offensive or inappropriate
•    Use initiative to connect TBT with other social media platforms
