The summer transfer window is back! Like last year Barcelona are again keen on signing Cesc Fabregas.

If reports are to be believed Fabregas may soon become a Barcelona player. But is the midfielder actually needed at Nou Camp? Barcelona already have world class midfielders like Xavi, Busquests and Iniesta to name a few. Instead of spending millions on Fabregas, Barcelona should invest their money in these players who could be quite useful for the Catalan club in the seasons to come:

6. Jose Angel

Age: 21
Club: Sporting Gijon
Position: Left Back

With Maxwell and Abidal both entering the twilight of their career, Barcelona need a good left back. He is considered one of the most promising youngsters in La Liga and has also played for the Spanish U-21 side. Barcelona were earlier linked to the 21 year old but there has been no confirmation from either club. Jose Angel could be a long term replacement for Eroc Abidal and could come as cheap as 4 million pounds. The 20 year old was also in the Ligue Team of the Year for the second consecutive season and he is often dubbed as the ‘next Ronaldo’ because of his flair and trickery. Many big clubs have already shown interest in the 20 year old, Barcelona being one of them.

Pato is a strong physical forward and can form a letal attacking patnership with Messi and Villa at Nou Camp. Barcelona’s quick style of play will suit Pato. His development was stalled at A.C. Sanchez is the currently the hottest property in world football. According to reports Sanchez is set to sign for Barcelona for 26 million pounds. The 22 year could be a huge hit at Barcelona and could form a deadly attacking patnership with David Villa and Lionel Messi. Sakho can be a long term replacement for Carles Puyol. The defender can also play as a left back and can be a good solution to Barcelona’s defensive worries.
