New Sex Scandal hits the English National Team | Thebigtip

After the "John Terry" saga, the English national team is hit with another sex scandal. This time it was Wayne Rooneys turn to be in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. Romour is that he has had regular "meetings" with a 21 year old prostitute, Jennifer Thompson. Jennifer has confessed to "The Mirror" that she has met the Machester United striker in more then 7 ocassions and all at the time when the strikers wife, Colin McLaflin was pregnant with their son Kai. Jennifer has received a sum of 1000 pounds for her services each time she entertained Rooney.

She is quoted saying: "My mobile is full of his messages. We arranged everything by skype and we always met at the hotel".

After the scandal was revealed, friends of the footballer have been teling reporters that Rooney is in bad shape and worried that Colin will not forgive him this time.

Unfortunately, this is not Rooneys first time in hot water with prostitutes. In August 2004, "Sunday Mirror" published an article about Wayne paying a prostitue 140 euros. At the time, he and his current wife were only dating.

The news does not affect Rooney just in his personal life, but also his footballin career. Englands current manager, Fabio Capello is still not sure if he will put Rooney in the starting line up against Switzerland this week.

This was not the attention the English National Football Team needs right now. They are still licking their wounds from the news about John Terry having a sexual relationship with one his team mates wife (Wayne Bridge). And who could forget the article about Peter Crouch and his problems with prostitutes.

Im sure all these"after-hours" acitivities have played a role in the players form and attitute in the field. It is definetly a problem that needs adressed, if the English Football Association wants to bring the World Cup trophy back in their possesion.
