"They didn't run through us although they did score one try in the corner, but overall our defence was pretty solid. Cherry-Evans was particularly sharp. He made some incisive runs and through some good passes. For a kid with one year in the big time he has got a massive future ahead of him."

France have defeated Ireland in Limerick with a stirring 36-14 win at Thomond Park.

Joe Taylor and Kane Bentley scored hat-tricks for their respective sides while Thomas Bosc once again showed his class with the boot. Bosc kicked five goals while Irishman Liam Finn kicked 0 from 4.
