BETFAIR BECOMES A ONE-STOP SHOP WITH LAUNCH OF ‘BEST TOTE’ AND ‘TOP FLUC’ PRODUCTS 

Betfair has illustrated its commitment to offering punters today announcing the introduction of FairPrice, its Australian ‘best tote’ (FairDiv) and ‘top fluctuation’ (FairFluc) betting products.

FairDiv offers Betfair customers the ability to receive the best odds among the three major Australian TAB dividends on win and place markets directly from their Betfair accounts.

FairFluc provides punters with the best of the broadcast odds from on-course bookmakers.

These new products ensure the world’s biggest betting exchange evolves into a true ‘one-stop shop’ featuring no less than five different wagering options on racing; the traditional betting exchange, Betfair starting price, Betfair multiples via The Tote and now FairPrice and FairDiv.

Betfair Australasia CEO Andrew Twaits says the launch of FairPrice reinforces Betfair’s desire to offer punters a comprehensive range of products and services, including its core betting exchange product.

“Betfair’s betting exchange is the best wagering product in the Australia market, but the exchange can’t be all things to all people.  FairPrice, has been added to the exchange, tote and multiples products to entrench Betfair as the one stop shop for Australian punters.”

Mr Twaits said the success of its third-party relationships with betting operators Sports Alive and Tote Tasmania and the demand from its 3.2 million global customers had driven the company to broaden its product portfolio.

“The take up of our tote and ‘Aus Multis’ products has been very pleasing.  We look forward to similar results with the new racing product we’re offering our customers through Sports Alive.”

The FairPrice products will be offered through Betfair’s site and will be managed by Sports Alive under their ACT sports bookmaking licence.
