Kentucky 2011, here we go!!!

How can you pick a winner from this mess? Well, Tony Gold can!

After months of false favourites and potential superstars 20 horse's are lining up in the 2011 Kentucky Derby. Only one will win.

Lets get back to basics...

Uncle Mo has no chance of even being in the finish....save you money. He would be flat out running the distance fit and well. He is neither fit or well!

Tony Gold gives you winners and is giving you one in Nehro, crying out for more ground this is my TOP pick and after two very close second place finishes this horse is on the up and up and even from the 19 post will get back and in my opinion nail them on the line. Stay Thirsty is my close second pick. This little fellow is the stable mate of Uncle Mo and did nothing wrong until sent to Florida in the heat from the freezing cold of NYC and expected to run well. Forget that run, he has been eating like a HORSE since then and been around the merry go round at Churchill Downs before and he will be right there when it matters on the turn in the Derby to make his move.

He will not lie down without a fight mark my words. Im slightly favouring Nehro over him.

The wise guy of the field is not in fact my top pick in Nehro but Midnight Interlude...forget that he is lightly raced, Baffert know's what he is doing and I think its going to be flying at the finish and with a little luck might just get the money.

As for the other hopefuls, well Master of Hounds is the best chance the Europeans have ever had having run in the Breeders cup and a recent second in Dubai proving its world class. Do not write it off from post 11 he will be a huge chance on best form.

Dialed In is going to be there abouts and will probably go off favourite but at the odds I'm not a huge fan..

If it really gets wet and sloppy do not forget about Santiva, this horse could surprise at odds and if your looking for a a rank outsider this is your horse.

Tony Gold know's best and so go hard on the Nehro and remember me when your collecting!
