The latest re-incarnation of speculation over a second competitive league has forced the podcast’s hand into discussing whether the idea would work. What would the B-League do to the National Youth League? Perhaps an amalgamation of the proposed B-League and the current setup of the NYL would be the best way to go?

After the conclusion of the Rugby World Cup last weekend, the podcast tries to make sense of union and how they should have approached watching the games as casual fans unable to make sense of the complicated rule sets. Plus what is Ricky’s perception of the game as an outsider, and is this what could potentially be harming the code to potentially attracting new fans?

The Format of the NAB Cup (20:30 – End)

Details of the NAB Cup in 2012 were published today, and the new format has interested the podcast. With two extra matches under the NAB Cup banner as opposed to the former structure of gallivanting across the country, how will that affect season preparation? Is it a good thing that there are fewer practice matches
