2010 F1 Season Review Part 12- Immaculate Conception of a Bad Idea
11 257

The 2010 Formula One season was one of the most exciting to date, with a heady mixture of new teams, new regs and a four-way title battle to keep even the least enthusiastic petrol-head glued to their telly screen. In my extensive season review, I'll be taking you through each of the 12 teams' performances, who was hot and who most certainly was not and I'll be giving my raw and unsolicited opinion on whether each team deserved their final finishing place. Last, and...yes, least, was Virgin...

Handlebars at Dawn - the MotoGP halfway report
00 377

Being Jorge Lorenzo must be one of the most nerve-wracking jobs in the world right now. The 2010 Moto GP title was practicaly in his back pocket until a couple of rounds ago, with perennial powerhouse Valentino Rossi at home nursing a broken leg, and closest rivals Dani Pedrosa and Andrea Dovizioso half a country mile behind him in the points table. But nothing's ever that simple in the wacky high-octane world of motor racing, and now the 23-year-old from Mallorca faces serious competition from...

Currently training as a sports journalist at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston, England. Have one year left to run on my course and have been very busy over the summer travelling all over the country for various work placements. Travelled to India to report on the Commonwealth Games in October 2010 for the Hindustan Times, and consider this one of my greatest achievements to date. Am mad about most two- and four-wheeled racing, am a great admirer of Jorge Lorenzo, Leon Haslam, Jenson Button and Felipe Massa. Winter is the worst season for us petrol-heads!
