Andrew Bogut is starting to become a force in the middle for the surging Milwaukee Bucks with some inspired play of late.Bogut, who suffered a horrific injury which prematurely ended his 2009-10 season where he sustained an ugly dislocated elbow and broken hand has been a beast in the middle averaging 21 points and 15.5 rebounds over the last five games in which the Bucks have won four out of five with a valiant loss to the Miami Heat, who are in the middle of a winning streak of their own.The...
The outcry of the English Football public following the 4-1 thrashing by German in the World Cup this past July has resulted in dramatic rule changes. The English FA following a thorough review decided the 'foreign invasion' of the last decade into the premier league has caused the English national team to perform below expectations. Premier league clubs now have to name a 25 man squad at the end of each transfer window (next one due to end 30 September), with a minimum of 8 home grown...
Jim Stynes is many things to many people. He is a football pioneer, club legend, youth and charity worker, cancer fighter and most recently saviour of a football club. At the start of 2008 Melbourne Football Club had debt totalling $5 million along with poor training facilities and little indication they had a plan for fixing either problem. The club was lacking in many areas and the pride and passion to call yourself a Melbourne Demons player or supporter was not what it once was. Then along...
It's official...Superman, Shaq Attack, Big Diesel, Big Cactus, etc has agreed to join the Boston Celtics on a one year deal. Shaquille O'Neal has agreed to join one of the oldest franchises to form the oldest team in the league with the big three of Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen. In what seems like a move to counteract the partnership in Miami of superfriends Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh the Celtics have made their second signing of a former allstar following the signing...

I am a sports fanatic who has been following my basketball, AFL and cricket for as long as I can remember. I also have a keen interest for NFL, Soccer and any other sport that I can attend. My life effectively revolves around sport and have travelled the globe to watch Barcelona at Nou Camp, Arsenal at the Emirates, Lebron James in New York as well as a regular attendee of sports when back in Australia. My sporting claim to fame is that I used to man up Chris Judd as a youngster in junior footy.
